Welcome to the self-directed online learning module: HELP Brief Intervention Training for Health Professionals, Aged Care Workers, Community Services and Volunteers.
Aim: The HELP Brief Intervention is an easy way to integrate social prescribing into your everyday practice as someone who supports people living with life-limiting illness, and their carers. The training will equip you with the understanding, tools and resources needed to encourage your patients and clients to get the social and practical help they need. All in a few minutes of interaction.
In this training, you will:
- Learn about social networks and how they can enhance end-of-life experiences,
- Get an overview of the HELP App, and
- Gain confidence in using HELP as a social prescription with patients and families.
